Plan, measure and protect what matters most
We help organisations move from ambition to measurable action in nature repair—using science, technology and strategy.
The challenge
Environmental targets are rising, but confidence in delivery is not. Whether it’s legislated carbon goals, nature repair plans, or ESG reporting obligations, the pressure to show real outcomes is growing. Too often, organisations rely on static baselines or outdated methods that fail to capture ecological complexity or progress.
Without the utilisation of high-resolution remote sensing data and expert guidance, even well-meaning initiatives risk falling short.
Our solution
ArborCarbon helps clients quantify, validate and strengthen their natural capital strategies. We combine vegetation health expertise, ecology, remote sensing and deep analytics to build site-specific baselines, track changes over time, and support informed interventions.
Our approach supports:
- Carbon sequestration planning, high-accuracy measurement, and validation
- Biodiversity uplift programs
- Nature repair compliance and co-benefit reporting
- Long-term habitat health monitoring
Whether you manage native forests, agricultural landscapes or restoration zones, we tailor our tools to meet your goals.
What we deliver
- Clear, defensible baselines for natural capital, carbon and biodiversity
- Ongoing monitoring using remote sensing, ML and in-situ methods
- Integration with offset frameworks and policy standards
- Actionable insights for land management and investment
- Measurable progress toward sustainability and ESG goals

The challenge
Ash Dieback poses a major threat to vegetation adjacent to and surrounding electrical assets throughout the UK. Apart from the potential impact to infrastructure through failure, it can also result in the extensive losses of natural capital and biodiversity.
The solution
ArborCarbon acquired very-high resolution (sub 3cm GSD) airborne ArborCam® data from crewed aircraft across sites spanning from London to Scotland. Utilising our spectral vegetation index, the Vegetation Condition Index (VCI), and delineating all tree crowns using our ML algorithms, we identified Ash trees, and benchmarked their condition. We then extracted biomass measures of all vegetation, and utilising a range of metrics, estimated carbon sequestered within the entire tree asset, and also the gaps available for planting to realise future natural capital opportunities.
The impact
The client obtained early warning of issues within their tree asset, enabling target assessment and mitigation, and determined the carbon sequestered within their natural asset. Quantification of future planting opportunities enabled them to consider how they could offset their carbon and biodiversity footprint through on their own land rather than outside.
Why it matters
Every tonne of carbon stored and every species protected contributes to a more resilient future. But intent is not impact. ArborCarbon helps you make that connection—with data that proves it, and strategy that sustains it.
